Welcome To Oyster Creek, Texas

The city of Oyster Creek, an incorporated industrial community, and progressive and essential part of Brazoria County. This small town is located six miles from surfside beach and ten miles east of Lake Jackson. Oyster Creek is highly recognized for their beautiful city park boarding the creek. Residents and visitors have a pleasant time fishing on the pier, picnicking, grilling and kids love the splash pad.

The city was established by settlers as early as 1849. In the 1930’s the city became a fishing village and in 1944 Oyster Creek became part of the Brazosport Industrial and port area. The population was 600 in 1970 and has grown to 1111 in 2010.
