COVID-19 City Hall Updates

4/1/2020 UPDATE –

In our efforts to “flatten the curve”, the City is requesting residents and visitors handle as much business as possible through telephone, online and email. **ALL CREDIT CARD FEES HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY WAIVED**

Our water department issued new bills yesterday (3/31/2020) and is anticipating an influx of in-person visits to City Hall. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, please remember that our office is not accepting any hand to hand transactions. Cash and Checks must be placed in our night drop box and we cannot give change at this time – any amount you pay over will be credited to your account.  Water bill payments can be made by phone at (888)493-2446 or online at www.municipalonlinepayments.com/oystercreektx

The Municipal Court is also not accepting any hand to hand transactions and is requesting that all customers contact us via telephone or email – Katelynn@cityofoystercreek.com – for any questions or concerns about citations. Payments can be made at https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/oystercreektx/court/search

The Permits & Inspections department is requesting all permit applications be submitted via email to ashley@cityofoystercreek.com or jeni@cityofoystercreek.com. Applications and payment information can be found on our website at https://www.cityofoystercreek.org/permits-and-inspections/.

3/25/20 - UPDATE:

In a further effort to minimize hand-to-hand contact in our office and encourage citizens to utilize our online payment sites - we have temporarily waived our 3% Convenience/Processing fee for in office and online credit card transactions.

3/24/20 - An Update from City Hall and Municipal Court:

Although our offices are currently open, due to the rising number of positive COVID-19 cases in Brazoria county, we are strongly urging that all residents and citizens take care of outstanding water bills and fines by phone, email or online if at all possible.
Our office number is 979-233-0243.
Emails are as follows:
• City Clerk: jeni@cityofoystercreek.com
• Utility Clerk: ashley@cityofoystercreek.com
• Court Clerk: katelynn@cityofoystercreek.com
Or you can visit our website https://www.cityofoystercreek.org/ to pay your water bill, pay fines, print out forms, and find other information.
